The architect, the founder of the PHD bureau, Lana Grineva, for the first time demonstrates a series of three books — Apartments, Houses, Others which included not only the brightest projects for 15 years of bureau activity, but also outlines principles and methods of work on interior projects, based on attention to the person and his values.
The books include projects of various scale — from apartments and private residences to hotels, pop-up restaurants and exhibition projects. These books illustrate the effectiveness of the design method, which can be successfully applied to any design.
In the books Apartments, Houses the process of work on projects is presented as an intimate process of residence of personal, but anonymous (in connection with confidentiality) stories of people. And the Others book includes not only «other» projects - exhibitions, restaurants, hotels, representative offices, landscapes and even a 72-meter yacht. Here there are «others», real people — it contains comments of artists, curators, journalists, friends and partners of the bureau. |

Olga Kosyreva, a journalist, critic, professor and historian of design, participated in the preparation of books as an editor, the ABC design team, led by Dmitry Mordvintsev, worked on the graphic part. The star structure of the participants makes it possible to talk about a series of books as one of the most interesting on the Russian book market in the interior design industry.
